The Junior Lawyers Division (JLD) was established as a dedicated group within the Law Society to offer support, advice, information, and networking opportunities to junior lawyers on a national scale, while also advocating for the perspectives of young lawyers through lobbying and campaigns both internationally and within the UK.

Our division, the South Hampshire Junior Lawyers Division (SHJLD) strives to deliver these same services specifically to junior lawyers in the South Hampshire area through various events and activities. Additionally, we provide young professionals from other sectors with opportunities to enhance their essential networking skills and connections. ​
